St Catharines, Ontario — FEL Motorsports is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with TWOth Autosport to deliver an extraordinary opportunity for a standout driver from the 2025 Emzone Radical Cup Canada (RCC) presented by Michelin. This initiative will offer one deserving driver a chance to test the TWOth Autosport Ligier JS P315 LMP3 car, marking another significant milestone in the Emzone RCC’s reputation as a proven stepping stone to higher levels of motorsport competition.
The selected driver will be chosen based on a variety of criteria that extend beyond championship standings, emphasizing talent, potential, and overall performance throughout the season. This initiative underscores the shared commitment of FEL Motorsports and TWOth Autosport to nurturing Canadian racing talent and helping drivers overcome the financial and logistical challenges that often hinder progress in the sport.
The Emzone RCC presented by Michelin has already demonstrated its role as a launchpad to the LMP3 platform. Notably, 2022 series champion Jonathan Woolridge transitioned to LMP3 and scored a victory in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Most recently, 2024 champion Kenny Riedmann joined TWOth Autosport at Sebring International Raceway, helping the team secure the inaugural HSR Prototype Challenge AM championship in their LMP3 car. Travis Hill, Team Principal at TWOth Autosport, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative: “Motorsport is a gruelling sport where success on the track doesn’t necessarily translate to career opportunities moving forward. The financial and logistical hurdles are often too much to overcome, slowing momentum and limiting future progress for aspiring Canadian racing drivers. We’ve spent our entire lives trying to navigate this industry and want to provide these opportunities where possible to deserving competitors.”
Chris Bye, President of FEL Motorsports, added: “This initiative reflects the very essence of what FEL Motorsports is all about—creating opportunities for talented drivers to move up the motorsport ladder. The Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin has consistently demonstrated its value as a development platform, and this partnership with TWOth Autosport exemplifies our commitment to fostering Canadian racing talent. We’re proud to support our drivers in their journey and provide this incredible chance for one deserving competitor to showcase their skills in an LMP3 car. This is yet another step in ensuring Canadian drivers are represented on the global motorsport stage.”
The LMP3 testing opportunity will be a defining moment for one standout Emzone RCC presented by Michelin driver, further solidifying the series as a critical Canadian pathway to professional motorsport success.
