Elmvale, Ontario – Elmvale Ontario’s Matt Garwood will be attending The 2016 Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo March 11, 12 & 13 located at the Toronto International Centre.
During the show Matt will be a voice of the Automotive Education & Career Panel, discussing his racing career and automotive education experiences at The Automotive Business School Powered by Georgian College where he recently graduated.
Various members of the automotive industry and education sector will be in attendance during the Friday March 11th event. A representative from Niagara College, The Automotive Business School of Canada (Georgian College), Joey McColm NASCAR Pinty’s Series driver / Automotive Engineer and more TBA.
Throughout the three-day show Matt will be making appearances at the Georgian Auto Show booth, the Autoglym Canada booth and a variety of other locations over the three-day event.
In addition to being a Formula 1200 Challenge Cup Series Champion, recent graduate of the Automotive Business School of Canada and the 2015 -2016 CNE Ambassador of the Fairs; Matt is also a proud "Laps for Muscular Dystrophy" (Laps4MD) driver. This is a fundraising campaign where racecar drivers pledge to donate $1 for every lap they lead to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

About Matt Garwood: Matt is a 20 year-old racecar driver from Elmvale, Ontario who recently graduated from the Automotive Business School of Canada powered by Georgian College. Matt competes in the Formula 1200 open wheel racing series and is the 2015 Formula 1200 Challenge Cup Series Champion. He is also a 4-time Canadian Karting League Champion and the 2012 Formula 1200 Rookie of the Year.
