Laps 4 MD will be hosting a special meet & greet BBQ with drivers and supporters at an upcoming racing event. Today Laps 4 MD is launching a crowdfunding campaign in support of the Meet & Greet BBQ. The hope is to raise funds to cover the costs of this very special meet & greet BBQ - to help bring a smile to the face of those affected by Muscular Dystrophy.

Laps for Muscular Dystrophy is a network of professional racers who aim to make a difference in the lives of families affected by Muscular Dystrophy. Laps 4 MD is currently supported by 16 different races across Canada and even the USA, who donate $1 from every lap they lead to Muscular Dystrophy Canada. There are currently over 50,000 Canadians affected by Muscular Dystrophy.

Funds raised for the Laps 4 MD meet & greet BBQ will be used to cover the cost of purchasing tickets to an upcoming race. This will enable Laps 4 MD to provide a few families and individuals affected by Muscular Dystrophy with ticket to the race. They will then be invited to join the meet & greet BBQ to say thank you to those supporting Laps 4 MD. This will truly be a special day for everyone.  

Laps 4 MD aims to raise enough funds to:
-Cover cost of food for BBQ
-Cover cost of tickets to upcoming race which will be provided to those with Muscular Dystrophy they invite out
-To provide a special day for those with Muscular Dystrophy

Laps 4 MD aims to have a positive impact on the lives of Canadians with Muscular Dystrophy. With your help Laps 4 MD can put a smile on the faces of those young and old living with MD.

Muscular Dystrophy is a muscle disorder that in many cases takes away a person’s ability to walk, stand, speak and for some to even breathe. For some the condition is fatal. This is why Laps 4 MD aims to provide them with this special day.
