His first laps with us will help him to get ready for his first trials later this fall in Europe. We know that European karting is highly competitive. We want to give him every chance of succeeding by providing him with all the tools he needs to be ready for his evaluation. The fact that Ilie is so young is an advantage that will help him in all facets of automobile racing, and we will give him the all the help he needs to prepare for life in the world of sports. We all know that that to succeed in the world of motorsport, speed is not the only tool available."

Tag Motorsports and Alex will supervise the development of this young driver with a tailor-made program. Alex is thrilled to renew his ties with CRG. "Karts of course have changed a lot since I began, but I have kept in touch with CRG owner Giancarlo Tinini and his family over the years," continued Alex. "It's a huge company that manufactures beautiful products and does not cut corners, preferring to design and manufacture all parts themselves. The customer knows he is buying a beautifully designed product. We have also established links with CanTorque owner Colin Livingston, who will now be the CRG representative in Western Canada."
