Thorold, Ontario – A trip to Canada from their native Poland to visit family included a night at Merrittville Speedway to take in a night of Kart Racing. The Pyrka Family – Zbigniew, Alicja and Patryk’s visit included a visit to St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Victory Lane after Christopher Crowe won his 5th Vansickle Pet Valu Novice 1 Feature of the season Tuesday August 23rd.

In the Tim Phillips Garage St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Novice 2 Division, Cohen Corbett took home his 4th win of the season.

Winning his 3rd Feature of 2016 was Zach Trotter in the RCM Racing Equipment Junior 1 Division while in the Cassell Manufacturing Senior Fun Division – Ed Crozier took home his second win while in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Division – Jaedon Lawson ran to his 6th Feature Win.

In other Performance Manufacturing Divisional action, two drivers continue to add to their impressive stats.

Dalton Slack took home his 10th win in the Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Division while Travis Majuery continues to lead all drivers after winning his 13th Feature in the Wilder Racing Engines Senior Animal Division.

Kart Racing continues Tuesday August 30th. Pits Open at 5:30 and when the racing starts at 7 PM – Grandstand Admission is FREE.
