Welcome to Daytona ... The walkover bridge on crossing International Speedway Drive greets you directly in from of Daytona International Speedway. It is a "welcome sign" for us after a long drive south and it means the beginning of the racing season in North America with the TUDOR United Sports Car Series and the 52nd running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Team brings four Street Tuner Hondas and one Grand Sport Subaru to historic IMSA event

Daytona Beach, Florida - The rigs have arrived and disgorged their cargo, the crew and drivers are ready, and the paddock is abuzz with anticipation of a new race season about to begin. And this year, the excitement is increased as this will be the first weekend of racing under the new, combined sanctioning body formed by the merging of Grand-Am and the American Le Mans Series. Now named IMSA, a name that reflects decades of sportscar history in North America, it oversees a diverse collection of racing series, including the new TUDOR United Sportscar Championship (TUSC), the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC), and a number of development series, including the Ferrari Challenge, all of which are on the cards at Daytona.

Who's In First .... or, Where are they Now.

A few years back, IMSA had a great system for tracking positions of the race leaders in their endurance series with a set of lights on the side of each car. If you were in the top three, you car would display either one, two or three LED clusters so you at least knew who at least who the leaders were in each class. Many fans missed it when the leader lights system went away but now, with the advent of the TUDOR United Sports Car Series, IMSA has brought back the system and in an expenaded format where all cars will show their position. Following is IMSA's explanation of the Class nymbering and Leader Lights systems:

Starworks Confirms Drivers for Rolex 24 For LMPC Class

Starworks Motorsport is happy to confirm its PC driver line-up for the Rolex 24 at Daytona,January 25-26.

The 7 car duties will be shared by drivers Alex Popow (Ven), Martin Fuentes (Mex), Isaac Tutumlu (Spain), Pierre Kaffer (Ger) and Kyle Marcelli (Can) who is new to the Starworks party.
