Tristan DeGrand Captures Pole for Race 2 of the BARC GP of Ontario

Bowmanville, Ontario – Tristan DeGrand, of Eureka, MO was back on top in today's qualifying for Race 2 of the BARC Grand Prix of Ontario.

DeGrand posted a best lap of 1:30.263 and will share the front row with Brampton's Chase Pelletier with a time of 1:30.877. Jeffrey Kingsley of Port Hope had a best lap of 1:31.003. Shane Jantzi of Ayr had a solid session and was fourth ahead of Max Hanratty of Hartland, WI

Other notables were Reid Arnold with a great lap to get him a sixth starting position. On the flipside Craig Willis struggled to get someone to draft with and will start 9th. He will no doubt be a factor in the race.

The "B" Class pole goes to Connor Wagland of Dundas, ON 1:32.537 just barely ahead of Graham Lobban with his best lap of 1:32.732. Keith Lobban will start third ahead of Amy Castell and David Graham.

The 22 minute race will run later today.
