Toronto, Ontario - Lindsay Rice hosted family, friends, and business partners at the Bisha Hotel in downtown Toronto to reveal her #18 Rice Racing Audi RS3 LMS race car for 2019.
The 2019 season is fast approaching, and the Rice Racing team and driver Lindsay Rice have just announced yesterday their race car design for the upcoming Canadian Touring Car Championship race series.
"It was truly a beautiful event. I felt so honoured to host such a spectacular group of people in such a spectacular venue - the room was filled with my business partners, sponsors, and my family and close friends." says Lindsay Rice. "It couldn't have been any more perfect."
The evening was kicked off with hors d'oeurves and cocktails as the guests made their way through Mister C lounge at the Bisha Hotel in downtown Toronto. Jonathan Breton, General Manager of Audi of Missisauga took the microphone to begin speeches at 8pm. Alongside Jonathan, Steve Smith; the Director for Business Development at Audi Canada, Remi Lanteigne; Team Manager at M1GT and Lindsay Rice herself stood at the podium to announce the season plans and thank everyone for their ongoing support.
Immediately following speeches, the entire room made their way to the front of the hotel to see the all-new #18 Rice Racing Audi RS3 LMS livery for 2019.
In partnership with Restyle It Wraps, Lindsay was able to craft the all-new livery alongside the professional wrap team based out of Concord, Ontario.
"For 2019, I wanted something a little more aggressive, and fierce. Something that said: look out, we're coming for you", says driver Rice. "Restyle It really helped put the pencil down to paper and made this happen for me. The matte black design, along with the hexagon design really make the car stand out from the crowd. Also the nice touch of my Rice Racing logo in gloss black on top of the matte black hood really is sharp."
The evening was generously sponsored by Lindsay's partners, Hangar Racing and T Box Technologies, and supported by INK Entertainment.
Lindsay would like to thank all of her 2019 sponsors for joining her for the evening, and for being a part of the season ahead: Audi Canada, Audi of Mississauga, Audi Brampton, Hangar Racing, Inroble International, T Box Technologies, Gavin Hockey Wealth Specialists, and Restyle It Wraps.
Lindsay Rice is set to contest the 5 rounds of the Canadian Touring Car Championship this season, in the TCR category. Watch out for her new livery on track throughout Ontario and Quebec beginning in just two weekend on May 17-19th at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
