Brian Graham Racing captured the 2017 Toyo Tires F1600 Championship with Ben Hurst after a strong final weekend at CTMP. The third year driver who began his F1600 career with Rookie Of The Year honors has now progressed to a champion. With the final 3 races of the season very hotly contested with a 23 car grid, Hurst captured two Class A wins and a runner up. All 3 races were hard fought affairs with multiple lead changes and they all came down to the last lap with the margin of victory less than a second for all 3 races amongst the top 3 drivers.

The team heads to Quebec and the Circuit Mont Tremblant for the final weekend of the Formula Tour 1600 with Roman De Angelis who sits 2nd in points. An unfortunate conflict in schedules with a second series he competes in meant he missed the penultimate rounds and that will make it a tall order to make it two for two for the BGR squad to claim the title in Quebec. Nevertheless, the team is determined to finish up the season on a high and secure the best results they can.
