The FIA F.3 European Championship is set to line-up for its final round of 2016 at the Hockenheim ring. The German venue will be the home of the final three races of the season, with Prema already crowned champion in the driver championship, having secured the team honours as well. The goal for the Italian squad will be to defend second place in standings with Maximilian Gunther, who has a 36-point margin on Russell, and try to reclaim third place with Nick Cassidy, who stands 33 points away from the Brit in fourth. Aiming to bring home second place in the rookie championship, Ralf Aron is currently third in class, 2 points away from Hubert. Who still thinks that Prema might not have enough motivation this weekend is set to be proved wrong as there are plenty of goals still to reach.
René Rosin – Team Manager
“We are lining-up for the final round of the season aware of having accomplished the goals we had set at the beginning. That’s a good weight to shred off. But we are not just going to show up at Hockenheim content. Gunther and Cassidy can aim for good results in terms of the championship, and we will do everything we can to see them capture second and third place in standings. On the other hand, Ralf Aron is battling for second place in the rookie chart. As you see, we’re definitely not short of motivation”.
