Race fans and racing newcomers: get ready for a bigger and better event this weekend

Toronto, Ontario – Honda Indy Toronto is gearing up to celebrate 30 years of racing on the Streets of Toronto this weekend with all markers pointing to a bigger and better event than in recent years. This year’s event, which runs July 15-17 at Exhibition Place, will provide an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.

Marked growth in the number of interactive exhibits and activities, as well as the addition of a Speed Zone and the return of Thunder Alley, complement the move to free General Admission for event goers ages 12 and under all weekend when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult, making the event a family-friendlier experience.

Additions to the on-track action lineup bring the NASCAR Pinty's Series and Verizon IndyCar Series to the same track for the first time in five years, and varied support series races round out the track action from gate open to gate close all three event days. The full event lineup and schedule is available here.

Our new sponsors, together with all returning sponsors, are an indication that there is a growing passion for the sport and for the event. Each partner brings something new to the event - especially for fans. There are more things than ever to see and do throughout the Honda Indy Toronto weekend, ensuring everyone who attends has a memorable time."
