Bowmanville, Ontario – James Vance was at his home track at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park as part of the Mobil SportsCar Grand Prix. Vance is part of the MINI JCW Team competing in the IMSA Continental SportsCar Challenge and was in the 2 1/2 hour Saturday feature race.

Vance qualified his MINI in 7th place and worked his way up to 2nd during his opening stint of the race. Unfortuantley for Vance and the whole MINI JCW team, his team mate Ethan Low went off track in turn 5 and fell down the order, eventually finishing in 18th in what was an otherwise outstanding event for Vance and the team.

RaceCanada caught up with James after qualifying, on the grid just before the race and at his team transporter after the race. Watch & listen as James talks about the weekend.
