Race car driver David Richert will partner with Casamigos for several events, including a race at the Monaco Grand Prix weekend May 26 - 29

Winnipeg, Manitoba – Casamigos, a company created by longtime friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman will have their brand racing through the streets of Monte Carlo as the title partner of Richert's race car.

Throughout the years, David Richert has woven a unique story of overcoming the odds in pursuit of his dream to drive at the highest levels. Richert has achieved success racing throughout the world and is now competing in the elite Eurocup Formula Renault championship, the highest Formula Renault level in the world, a category of racing which has helped in launching the careers of many Formula 1 superstars including World Champions Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen.

The Eurocup championship will be the curtain-raising event for the Formula 1 cars on Sunday of the Monaco Grand Prix. In addition to Monaco, Casamigos will also be joining Richert for future events including several races at the historic circuit of Monza just outside of Milan, Italy.

Richert's entire race car is designed to reflect the Casamigos brand, a tequila which was originally developed only for friends and family. "At first we were doing it just for us.
