Drivers and Fans Will Get Together Saturday Night for Some Texas Sized Fun After a Full Day at the Track

Belleville, Ontario – Announced today the Lone Star Texas Grill Belleville will become the official party destination for race fans and competitors alike during the inaugural Bay of Quinte Grand Prix weekend.

“I am excited the Lone Star Belleville has agreed to host the drivers party,” Jason Sharpe, race promoter said. “The great thing about motorsport is the camaraderie we enjoy on the track and in the paddock and this allows our competitors to keep the party rolling and have some fun before the final race day Sunday. Additionally, it will allow our race fans to join in and get to know the drivers, and more importantly the sport, after the first day of competition”

The Drivers Party will take place on the evening of Saturday, July 18 and will feature driver interviews, some ticket giveaways and the two event pace cars.

“The staff at Lone Star Texas Grill are thrilled to be playing host to all of the competitors from all over Ontario, Quebec and the northeastern US staying with us in the Bay of Quinte region this weekend,” said General Manager Elliott “Bull” Haatvedt. “We are a short walk from most of the city’s hotels and they can expect some Texas sized fun and the best service in town while here.”

In addition to the Drivers Party, Lone Star staff will be on-site at the Bay of Quinte Grand Prix handing out some swag and sampling some of their famous chips and salsa all weekend long.

The Bay of Quinte Grand Prix takes place on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday July 19, 2015 at Shannonville Motorsport Park. In addition to the racing, fans can engage with interactive motorsport and automotive themed displays and meet the drivers and teams in the open paddock area.
