Steve Kent Jr. Behind the Wheel for This Weekend's Trans Am Race

Toronto, Ontario - Canada's Best Racing Team continues its journey in the Trans Am Series, this time travelling to New Jersey Motorsports Park for the Weekend of Thunder presented by MPT Industries. This race marks round 5 of the 2015 Trans Am Championship, and continues to set records for Americas Road Racing Series with a record-breaking 47-car entry for the New Jersey track.

The TA2 class will race the MPT Twelve Lubricant & Penetrant 100 on Sunday, June 14 at 11:50 a.m. EST. In the driver's seat of the No. 83 CBRT Ford Mustang is seasoned Trans Am driver, Steve Kent Jr. New Jersey Motorsports Park is familiar territory for Kent, who calls the road course his home track.

"I had a chance to take the Mustang out for testing last Friday in Iowa, and was happy with the results," said Kent. "The car was making fast times, and was handling well. I'm looking forward to getting the car out at the New Jersey track."
