Vancouver, British Columbia – Scott Hargrove and BC Pit Crew are pleased to announce that he will be competing in the Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tire season opening races at the St. Petersburg Grand Prix on March 28th and 29th, driving the #8 car for 8Star Motorsports. Through members of BC Pit Crew, most notably NEWWAY Concrete Forming, this first event has become possible.

In 2014 Scott won Rookie of the Year and Series Runner Up in the Pro Mazda presented by Cooper Tire championship and Rookie of the Year and Series Champion in the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Canada championship. In a total of 24 races between the two series, Scott won 9 times and made 20 visits to the podium.

Regarding their decision to provide assistance to make the season opening weekend possible for Scott, NEWWAY’s Principal Ezio Bortolussi stated: “We are very impressed by Scott Hargrove and his accomplishments of the past few seasons.
