Rubber Meets Asphalt This Sunday

Toronto, Ontario – Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) is full speed ahead with preparations for the first Trans Am race of the season. The iconic series will return to where it all started in 1966, at Sebring International Raceway, on Sunday, March 1st. The Trans Am Series has broken a 48-year old record set in 1967 with a 74-car entry for the upcoming race. CBRT is thrilled to be part of this record breaking event, which marks the teams’ inaugural expansion to the United States.

The CBRT Ford Mustang, prepared by McColl Racing Enterprises, is completed and ready to touch rubber to asphalt with driver Joey McColm behind the wheel. With a 500 horsepower engine behind it, the car will be a force to reckon with on the track.

The team has partnered with Bulk Nation, America’s Bulk Food Store, and will appear at a Bulk Nation location this week for a meet and greet autograph session with Joey McColm and the CBRT Ford Mustang. Fans can follow the team on social media for details to come.

Thursday and Friday are practice days for Trans Am TA2 competitors while Saturday is qualifying. The race starts on Sunday at 2:30pm ET at Sebring International Raceway.
