Tagliani's NCWTS Qualifying Results from the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

Montreal, Quebec - Alex Tagliani won the Keystone Light Pole Award on Saturday at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with a track record of 1 minute 20.558 second averaging 176.849 mph around the 3.957-kilometre, 10-turn road course. The Lachenaie, Québec driver will make his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start from the pole for Sunday's 2nd Annual Chevrolet Silverado 250, Round 14 of 22 of the 2014 series schedule. Tagliani, who competes full time in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series (NCATS) with the No 18 EpiPen/Dicom Express/Sennheiser/CanTorque Dodge Challenger for Tagliani Autosport, and in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, has one other start at the Mosport track back in 2008 in the NCATS.

Tagliani waited until less than half of the 30-minute first round of qualifying remained before laying down the round's top speed aboard the Brad Keselowski Racing Reese Towpower Ford F-150 truck.

Tagliani will also start 10th on Sunday in The Plinty's Presents The Clarington 200, Round 9 of 11 of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series (NCATS) scheduled to start Sunday at 10 a.m.
