Toronto, Canada – MAVTV Motorsports Network, the destination for all things motorsports, offering an unparalleled line-up of motorsports events and exclusive automotive reality shows, is pleased to announce the formation of an original series called All North Racing Powered by Pinty’s which will debut live on Friday May 31st at 9pm ET/6pm PT from the Ohsweken Speedway.

All North Racing Powered by Pinty’s will showcase the best of Canadian motorsports and racing action on dirt, pavement and more.

“We are thrilled to be reaching this milestone of delivering great Canadian-based racing action live on MAVTV Canada within only two years on-air!” said its President Mike Garrow. “Our plan was always to be able to provide a national platform that various tracks, event organizers and race teams here in Canada can be showcased, and now with our multiyear partnership with Pinty’s we look forward to the momentum we can build from this”, he added.

In 2019, there are six live races scheduled to begin on a monthly bases starting May 31st. Rick Pereira, GM of MAVTV Canada will serve as Executive Producer along with Anthony Spiteri, Vice President of Pinty’s. Clinton Geoffrey, Greg Calnan and Adam Ross will present the race call, related motorsports updates and analysis for the new broadcast series.

To start with, The All North Racing Powered by Pinty’s will broadcast from Ohsweken Speedway and feature four divisions all in one night with the 360 Sprint Cars, Crate Sprint, Thunder Stock and Mini Stock. Special Edition races during the season from Ohsweken Speedway will also feature Late Models Modified and Dirt Sportsman races. The format will be on full display Friday May 31st at 9pm ET/6pm PT.

“We believe this format will be an excellent showcase of all our Friday Night Excitement divisions, but especially our Thunder Stocks and Mini Stocks,” said Glenn Styres, Owner of Ohsweken. “Our Thunder Stocks and Mini Stocks regularly produce four and five-wide racing and in this format drivers will be battling for every position.”

The facility is owned by the Styres family and is located in the village of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. Ohsweken’s weekly Friday night racing program runs from May to September each year featuring 360 Sprint Cars, Crate Sprint Cars, Thunder Stocks and Mini Stocks.
