Bowmanville, Ontario – It was quite a performance that was delivered by the #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare team today on the road circuit of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Bowmanville, Ontario. Arriving in second place, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin pulled off some exemplary overtakes which allowed him to pull ahead for six laps. Currently in fourth place in the championship, the gap is tightening quickly and foreshadows plenty of action for the last two events of the season.

Following the qualifiers, the team has worked tirelessly last night in order to patch up an oil leak coming from the differential. In fourth place on the starting grid, the #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare team was more determined than ever to pull away with the victory. Two very fast pit stops allowed Louis-Philippe Dumoulin to position himself well for the end of the race.

"From the beginning of the season, we've successfully faced multiple challenges, and I'm very proud of my crew chief, Billy Burns, and the guys who've worked so hard to make sure the #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare car performed. Today, we're back on the podium. The pit stops were efficient, and I can assure you that I tried all on-track combinations in order to catch up to Kevin Lacroix. We've shown that our program is just as powerful on oval track. There are now only two races to go and we want to win them at any cost," shares the enthusiastic driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare car.

The NASCAR Pinty’s series is now headed to Quebec this upcoming September 10 for the second-to-last event of the season on the oval track of Autodrome St-Eustache. In 2015, we were treated to a spectacular race during which Louis-Philippe Dumoulin finished at the foot of the podium.

Once again this weekend, generosity was showcased
