Antigonish, Nova Scotia – Louis-Philippe Dumoulin used patience and strategy to defend his position with his legendary tenacity throughout the entire race on the oval track of the Riverside International Speedway yesterday. After a rocky start during which he avoided on-track incidents, the #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare team climbed onto the second step of the podium for the third time this season in the NASCAR Pinty’s series.
On the starting grid in fourth place, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has once again demonstrated the range of his talent by confidently carving his way to the top-5 on the race’s 131st lap. He was then able to get to the front of the pack and remained among the leaders through the end of the 300-lap race.
“The powerful #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare car was ready for all 300 laps. The team has done excellent work in the pits, showing speed and efficiency. It was a battle of inches with Kennington, Lapcevich, and Hathaway in the last 50 laps. With a third podium this season, we’re continuing to climb the ranks and our sole objective is victory,” explains Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.
Don’t miss the race’s replay this upcoming Sunday, August 28. You’ll understand the excitement the team has felt throughout the race.
