Despite stalling mid-feature, Cameron McGlashan fought back to post a top-10 finish on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.

McGlashan started off the night by finishing fourth in his heat, followed by a ninth place finish in the Fast Qualifer’s Dash.

Starting the feature deep in the feature, McGlashan was set to make-up ground in the early stages, running 12th with 21 laps to go. He’d avoid a crash ahead of him at Lap 9 between a pair of competitors to move up two more spots, cracking the top-10.

It seemed all the early effort would be wasted, though as coming off of turn four, McGlashan stalled on Lap 14. He was able to get the mustang refired, rejoining the tail of the field.

Restarting at the tail of the field, McGlashan fought back, crossing the finish line in the 10th spot for his fourth top-10 of 2016.
