Six Nations, Ontario – The first Canadian stop on Alex Hill's 2016 schedule didn't go according to plan. She and the #77x team are looking to rebound in Ohio this weekend.

Alex competed in 11 races in the United States and saw 4 more cancelled due to rain before racing back home on Canadian soil. Following the rainout of a planned visit to Ohio's Attica Raceway Park on Friday, the team prepared for the Patriot Sprint Tour event on Saturday at Merrittville Speedway in Thorold, Ontario.

Alex drew the 3rd starting position for her heat race, but got caught up in a crash. The crew worked hard to fix the car and get Alex back on track for the B-Main, but she was involved in another crash which ended her night.

Teammates Cory Turner and Dain Naida found better luck; Cory was able to start 9th and finish 5th in the A-Feature, while Dain emerged from the B-Main to finish 12th in the A-Feature.

Alex has two 305 Sprint Car races in Ohio on her agenda this weekend, with a Friday stop at Attica Raceway Park, and Saturday racing at Fremont Speedway.
