Trois-Rivières, Québec – Louis-Philippe Dumoulin and the WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare team are ready to overcome another challenge and make this second-to-last event of the season a success. The tenth race of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series will occur in Ontario this upcoming Sunday, August 30th on the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Currently in fourth place in the general rankings, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is more determined than ever to defend his place on the championship podium.
“The teamwork is huge, the King Autosport guys are working hard, and we’ve been able to stay on the frontlines all season long. Certain unfortunate events kept us far away from victory for the time being, and we’re hoping to make our way to the podium this weekend,” shares the double-winner of this circuit’s events in 2013.
With two events left to conquer, one on road circuit, and one on oval track, the driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare car sums up the first nine races: “Six starts out of nine were in the top 5 (including two in second place), we’ve gotten four top 5 appearances (including one podium in Edmonton) and eight in the top 10. The WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare car is powerful, and we’ve been fighting ahead since the beginning. We’re in fourth in the championship, making the top 3 attainable, so that’s our goal right now,” mentions a determined Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.
* The race will be broadcast on TSN on September 5 at 12 p.m. and on RDS2 on October 22 at 7 p.m.
