Trois-Rivières, Québec – This weekend, Jean-François Dumoulin wishes to renew his early-season success at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Bowmanville, Ontario, August 29-30. The #04 Dodge Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare / MIA / Spectra Premium had crossed the finish line in third place, highlighting the first podium in the NASCAR Canadian Tire series for Jean-François Dumoulin. The challenge remains the same for the #04 Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare / MIA / Spectra Premium team : have a strong performance to secure their presence in the final race on September 19, and prepare for the 2016 season.
The road circuit of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is a track that Jean-François Dumoulin can master, and he’s confident that he will be able to offer a good show to racing fans who will be present this weekend. “During the first race, we’ve been able to take advantage of an opportunity in the final laps, and we ended up on the podium. Third place is our best performance of the season so far. We’re hoping to be even faster this weekend and finish strong, once again, so we can rank higher,” shares the driver of the #04 Dodge Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare / MIA / Spectra Premium.
Our opportunity to participate, race after race, in the whole 2015 season is thanks to our partners, we’ll never say it enough. Furthermore, thanks to a strong fifth place on the oval track of the Riverside International Speedway this past August 15, the #04 Dodge Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare / MIA / Spectra Premium team has gained a place in the championship rankings (8th), and continues its quest to reach ever closer to the top 5 in the championship.
* The race will be broadcast on TSN on September 5 at 12 p.m. and on RDS2 on October 22 at 7 p.m.
