Trois-Rivières, Québec – With three races to go, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will begin the final stretch of the season this Saturday, August 15 on the oval track of the Riverside International Speedway. Behind the wheel of the #47 Dodge WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare, the focus of the team will remain the same, and the whole crew isn’t ready to throw in the towel on the championship, taking it one place at a time.

Considered a replica of the famous Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tennessee, USA), the Riverside International Speedway track (Antigonish, Nova Scotia) is known for its steep incline.

“We’re due for a win, and each time we show up at a circuit, our goal remains to perform and to win. This fast track is very steep, and there will be a lot of action for the fans, especially in relation to the pit stops. This is one of [crew chief] Mario Gosselin and King Autosport’s strengths, they know the track really well and the strategy we’ll use is effective. Lately, we’ve been able to reach the top 5 and podium a few times, and our program on oval track is effective, we can fight among the leaders,” explains the driver of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car.

The Maritimes are also part of the family history for the Dumoulin brothers, as their family roots stem from New-Brunswick. “It’s important for me to go to Eastern Canada, especially since my mother’s family is from Richibouctou (Kent county),” shares the 2014 champion of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series.
