Tagliani scored a third-place finish on Sunday in Round 4 of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, Quebec. Starting from the pole, the racer from Lachenaie, Quebec was overtaken on lap 3 by Kevin Lacroix of Saint-Eustache who went on to win the 30-lap race by 0.869 seconds ahead of Andrew Ranger. All throughout the race, Tagliani had issues with his power steering unit and could not keep up with the two front-runners' pace, but he managed to stay ahead of his pursuers to secure a podium finish.

This was the third Top-5 finish of 2015 for the driver of the No 18 EpiPen/CGI/CanTorque Chevrolet. Tag finished fifth at Autodrome Chaudière in Vallée-Jonction, Quebec on June 13, and one week later, lapped the entire field on his way to an historic win at Sunset Speedway in Innisfil, Ontario. Even though he has entered only three of the first four series races, Tagliani is now ninth in the driver standings with 129 points, only 30 behind championship leader Jason Hathaway, who finished 11th today.

"With all our mechanical problems during the race, I am very satisfied with the weekend results. During qualifying on Saturday, I started to have problems with the power steering unit after I posted the fasted lap to secure the pole," Tagliani said. "Then, the engine started to overheat. I knew that we would have a lot of difficulties to stay in front for the race. I saved the car as much as I could during the race, battled with the steering wheel for 30 laps, but managed a podium finish. We are now going on a two-race Western Canada swing, where we hope to continue with our success."

Sunday's Ecko Unlimited 100 telecast will premiere on TSN on July 11 at 1 p.m., and on RDS2 on July 25 at 2 p.m.

Round 5 of the 2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series will be held Saturday July 11 at the Edmonton International Raceway.
