Fourth Race of the 2015 Season in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series

Trois-Rivières, Québec – With two podium finishes (2013 and 2014), Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is also the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series driver who holds the highest number of top-5 and top-10 at ICAR road course. Behind the wheel of the WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare n°47 Dodge, 2014 champion is determinate to renew with success, this weekend, for the Ecko Unlimited 100, July 4th and 5th, Mirabel, Québec.

To have competed there many times since 2011, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin is familiar with ICAR road course. “The track is tight, there will certainly be a lot of action and our team strategy will be of a great importance”, explains the driver of the WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare n°47 Dodge.

Louis-Philippe Dumoulin and Mario Gosselin (crew chief, King Autosport) don’t stop with the 2014 championship. Each race, they compete with the intention of winning, and they stay focused on the same goal, to gain as much points as possible for the 2015 championship.

“The beginning of the season has been serrated, however it doesn’t change our desire to perform all the time. In July, we will be competing one race after another [five weekends], and two among them are in Western Canada. It is critical to stay focused, to finish our races and to be well positioned for the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières. Last year, we were on the podium at ICAR and we just want as much for this year.”

Louis-Philippe and Jean-François Dumoulin are proud to be on track in front of their partners, fans, friends and family in Quebec. For all racing fans, it is a happening not to be missed on July 4th and 5th.
