Toronto, Ontario – This weekend Elmvale Ontario’s Matt Garwood will be attending The Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo March 13, 14 & 15, 2015 at the Toronto’s International Centre.
During the show Matt will be a voice of the Automotive Education & Career Panel, discussing his racing career and automotive education experiences at The Automotive Business School Powered by Georgian College.
Various members of the automotive industry and education sector will be in attendance during the Friday March 13th event including Joey McColm (NASCAR Canadian Tire Series racer, engineer and fellow Laps4MD driver) and Wayne Toth from Niagara College. A representative from the University Of Ontario Institute Of Technology will also be a panelist.
Throughout the three-day show Matt will be making appearances at the Miller Oils Formula 1200 Series booth, the Georgian College Auto Show booth and the Autoglym Canada booth.
In addition to being a Formula 1200 driver, fulltime student and a Georgian College Auto Show director Matt is also a proud "Laps for Muscular Dystrophy" (Laps4MD) driver. This is a fundraising campaign where race car drivers pledge to donate $1 for every lap they lead to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Matt is a 19 year-old race car driver from Elmvale, Ontario currently studying at the Automotive Business School of Canada powered by Georgian College. Matt competes in the Formula 1200 open wheel racing series and in the near future looks to jump from regional racing to a national level series such as the Canadian Touring Car championship.
