After a North American race program that saw race wins and podium results in both two and four-cycle competition, Nathan Dupuis is ready for his first European experience. Courtesy of his championship podium result in the Junior MAX class at the RMC Winter Trophy, Dupuis will be part of Team Canada as he is set to take on the world next week.

“After learning that I would be part of Team Canada, I have been anxious and a little nervous,” explained Dupuis. “I have been working hard, but I understand the challenge of this event. I will take it all in stride, and if I can’t battle at the front of the field, I welcome the opportunity to gain experience.”

With the kart raffle taking place Sunday, Dupuis will hit the Circuito Internazionale Napoli on Monday for three practice sessions. Tuesday will host three additional practices, with the ever-important qualifying session taking place Wednesday morning before the first heat race. The wheel-to-wheel racing action will continue Thursday with two more heat races, with the combined points setting the grid for the pre-finals on Friday. Saturday will host the main event at the unofficial karting Olympics.

With 72 drivers in the field, all will pilot equally prepared chassis from Praga, one of which will hold the Canadian flag and name of Nathan Dupuis.
