Our World Famous Beach with the beachfront activities to keep visitors happy meant that we were a recognized as Canada's Premiere Beach Resort! The action at our own Stock Car Track, Wasaga Speedway, added to our connection with the "Birthplace of Speed", Daytona Beach, Florida.
Beach BOOSTER Promotions is eager to bring family friendly racing action to our beachfront with the Inaugural Wasaga Grand Prix June 6-8, 2014
Organized Kart Racing draws crowds to events all over North America. Our many Ontario Kart Clubs each have teams of trained drivers with specialized racing karts that travel the circuit of races each season. Beach BOOSTER is proud to be associated and eager to work with the Toronto Kart Club, enjoying their professional abilities and expertise in presenting World Class Karting Events in many communities, each drawing thousands of people to their exciting, family friendly motorsport events!
Our exciting and challenging Street Course will wind its way around the Main Beach area and Beach Drive will become the flat-out straightaway with karts reaching speeds of 100 mph plus!
This high profile motorsport event will be promoted all over Ontario but media outlets and the many Kart Clubs in Ontario and the USA. It is sure to become an annual event to help kick off Summer in The Beach!
Our event weekend will also include the Annual Wasaga Beach Scouts and Cubs Soap Box Derby and we will provide them with excellent exposure!
Spectators will be offered free viewing from our World Famous Beach with bleachers located on the beach and elsewhere around the course. We hope to have a giant LED screen on the beachfront showing views from cameras located around the track.
Non-stop action on the track will keep visitors happy and our exciting Thunder Alley will welcome all with displays of classic cars, NASCAR Canada, Indy cars, entertainment, Batmobile, KITT from Knight Rider, vendors and more!
• Friday June 6 - Media Events with community interactive displays and challenges on our beachfront track with entertainment. We will revisit the history of Racing in Wasaga Beach.
• Saturday June 7 - Practice Runs, Community Soap Box Races, thrilling Kart Racing, Thunder Alley entertainment
• Sunday June 8 - Practice Runs, Finals- Kart Racing, Thunder Alley entertainment

Wasaga Beach and our Main Beach are perfect locations to welcome a new Motorsport Event that will attract families from all over Central Ontario and beyond. We feel that our weekend event in early June will introduce many families to our town, our businesses and give us an opportunity to encourage a return visit! Each participating Kart Club will promote this Inaugural High Profile Event in Wasaga Beach with its own promotional avenues, while Beach BOOSTER Group and our valued sponsors will encourage visitors to visit our World Famous Beach for the Inaugural Wasaga Grand Prix!
