Throughout the 30-lap feature, Jade Franklin battled hard and it paid off as he’d come home with another solid top-10 finish.

Franklin kicked off the night by posting the 13th quickest time in time trials at 16.325 seconds.

With the first feature being for NASCAR points and Franklin being unable to run due to having to be 14-years-old or older, Robbie Sikes jumped behind the wheel of the No. 31 entry, starting from the tail of the field. Sikes kept his nose out of trouble, moving up into the 18th spot by Lap 10, before eventually completing the 30-lap event in the 15th position.

Come time for the second feature, Franklin started in the 12th position, making up ground in the early laps as he moved into 11th by the first caution at Lap 5. Through the middle portion of the feature Franklin continued to run in 11th, though escaped last lap contact between competitors ahead of him to cross the finish line in the ninth spot.

The finish marks 12 straight nights this season at Sunset Speedway Jaded Motorsports has posted a top-10 finish, combining the results of Franklin and Sikes this year. Notably, Franklin has yet to finish outside of the top-10 this season in 11 starts, placing him fifth in the points standings with two nights left on the schedule, six points out of third.
