The regular Hoosier Stock competitor was also the last driver to take a checkered flag after winning the 100 lap Ballhockey.com Enduro 100 accelerated by Niagara College that closed Merrittville Speedway's 63rd consecutive season Sunday September 7th.

Reid who won the second qualifying heat that was rain-delayed from Friday's J&S Heating and Air Conditioning TUSA Canadian Modified Lite Weekend Opener took the lead for the first time on lap 36 after starting from 5th spot.

John Burt who won the August 4th qualifier on the Bob St. Amand Senior Memorial presented by L. St. Amand Enterprises and St. Amand Auto and Truck Repair was first to lead and took the front-runners into lap traffic on the first lap.

Turn 4 Collision 4 Cylinder competitor Jason Coutu took control of top spot along the front stretch of lap 2 before Todd Gordon was in control on lap 11. Just before a red on lap 13 for track maintenance, Coutu regained the lead with regular Bobcat of Hamilton 358 Modified Driver Gordon in top spot to start lap 15.

Former Sportsman and veteran Enduro racer James Mercer became the new leader to start lap 26. By lap 30, Mercer had opened up a straightaway lead on the field in his vintage Mustang which went away with a red flag on lap 31.

The unofficial top 5 at this stage was Mercer, Coutu, Gordon, Pete Reid and Billy Smith with Gordon taking control until Reid's move on lap 36.

Smith took the lead to start lap 46 but Reid regained the lead quickly until a lap 60 red flag for track maintenance. Reid, Gordon, Smith, Peter Becker and Coutu were the unofficial top 5.

Reid set the pace when racing resumed and in the next few laps, both Gordon and Smith would make contact with the Turn 4 wall with Smith able to continue after Gordon got hung up on the moat.

Smith would take the lead on lap 62 but would make contact once more with Reid back in control on lap 64. Leading up to lap 75, Reid and Smith would swap spots until a lap 80 red flag slowed the event for a stranded car.

Reid resumed control on the restart with pole sitter Coutu dropping from the event with smoke pouring out of his #1 car.

Through to the finish, Reid would maintain the lead with Billy Smith, Peter Becker, Todd Gordon and Kevin Aube.

Reid became the closest to claiming the $500 Bonus in the event's history however the extra cash was only available to Coutu, Alex Schuts and John Burt meaning that 10 drivers would receive $50 rebates for registering prior to September 1st.
