Three car effort for 2015 Ontario Legends series

Cookstown, Ontario - With Ledson Motorsports claiming the 2015 Ontario Legends championship with team driver Nicholas Ledson, 2015 will see the team run three cars for the full season. Nicholas will be back to defend his title, while younger brother Cole will return after placing fourth overall in the points in 2014 and joining the team for the full season is Jamie Riberdy.

The start of the 2015 Ontario Legends series is set for this Saturday, May 16 at Peterborough Speedway in Peterborough, Ontario. After a successful run in the 5/8 scale model car racing series, Ledson Motorsports is set to take on the demands of a three car effort.

"We had a great season in 2014," explained Ledson Motorsports' Geordie Ledson. "With the addition of Jamie full-time for this year, brining our car count to three, we will be bigger and even better during the 2015 season."

Nicholas Ledson will look to make it three titles in as many years, after taking the championship title in 2013 and 2014. Recently honoured at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo at the International Centre in Toronto, Ontario for his championship at the Full Throttle Speedway, Nicholas continues to make waves as an impressive young driver in the series. Cole will return for this third season in the Ontario Legends ranks, and continues to be a threat for both heat and feature wins. A respectable fourth in the 2015 points has him longing for more, making him one to watch for in the series. Jamie Riberdy, who has worked with the Ledson team for the past two years, will run the full season in a third car. Running one race in the #5 machine in 2014, Riberdy will put double duty continuing with his team assistance and adding driving duties in the Ledson #6 car.
