Final Saturday Of February Last Chance To Purchase Before Increase

Thorold, Ontario – Although the next leap year is a year away – Merrittville Speedway’s Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Race Teams will have an extra day to purchase 2015 Driver VIP and Pit Season Passes when the Winter Office will be open Saturday February 28th from 9 AM to 12 Noon.

“With our March 1st Deadline a Sunday,” said (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “the Saturday opening will give those that are unable to visit us during the week a chance to get memberships and passes … and the BRP Parts Counter will also be open as well.”

Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Race Teams have a number of options for the coming season – including the Driver VIP Passes for those that achieved 75% Attendance in 2014. Drivers in the Van Raine Construction 4 Cylinder Division can purchase their VIP Passes for $225.00 while for the Rev’s Full Throttle Powersports Modified Lites, Hoosier Stocks, Rick’s Delivery Sportsman and Pinty’s 358 Modifieds – the cost is $275.00.

Pit Season Passes are also available for $375.00 which includes a Merrittville Membership until March 1st when it becomes $400.00. Memberships are available at any time for $75.00 which will provide Drivers and Crew Members with a savings on admissions weekly.

Drivers must be current Merrittville Speedway Members to receive Point Fund and any other awards at the end of the season. Race Fans and Race Teams should note that Season Tickets, Memberships and Season Passes require a photo of the pass holder. Photos can be taken at time of purchase or for gifts – other arrangements can be made.

Race Fans can also purchase their Grandstand Season Tickets with two options available once again.

General Admission Grandstand Season Tickets for Adults are $265.00 and Youth from 13 to 18 and Seniors 60 and up are $245.00 while Reserved Grandstand Season Tickets are $295.00 and $265.00 respectively.

“Since the fall when the race track received more than 400 truckloads of new clay – we have had incredible interest in the 2015 Season,” revealed Bicknell-Jones, “with a Season Ticket … race fans are sure to enjoy some favorite events and new twists from start to finish!”
