Despite chaos ensuing all around him, Jade Franklin kept his fenders clean and battled hard to a seventh place finish.

With a new format in place for racing at Sunset Speedway, Franklin took part in his first time trial session of the year, posting the 15th quickest time at 16.314 seconds.

Starting 14th for the feature, Franklin escaped the slew of incidents through the first half of the feature, making ground as he worked his way into the top-10. He then continued to battle hard through the second half of the feature, ultimately crossing the finish line in the seventh spot.

The finish marks 11 straight nights this season at Sunset Speedway that Jaded Motorsports has posted a top-10 finish after Franklin started the year with nine straight top-10s, and fill-in Robbie Sikes posted a ninth place finish last weekend.
